Island medical campain for EA

Hola!! My name is Madestin Hedstrom and I'm island's mom. Island Martin Hedstrom was born in Dominican Republic on 07/26/07, with a rare medical condition called Esophageal atresia, type A. The reasons for that type of condition still medically unknown. He had approximately close to 200 surgeries since he was born; most of them outpatient but still had to go under anesthesia for each one them. Once again "as hopefully the last big procedure " he will need a new reconstruction of the esophagus, having a gastrointestinal pull up, colon interposition and a cardiovascular anastomosis, also a skin transplant from his chest to the neck; He will go for an induced coma for proper healing and comfort since he has hard time with narcotics.. wich a means that he can feel the pain even with medicine. We planned the surgery since he was 4 years old.. surgery suppose to happen on Tuesday the 29th but getting admitted on the 28th.. today I received a phone Called from the surgeon saying that we have to actually go to Boston children's hospital for this procedure.. they have experience with the procedure and is actually the #1 hospital in the world that deals with EA. Now this is sudden and unexpected and I don't have enough money for all of this. I still have to pay bills, posible airplane tickets, gas, food and a place to stay.. Here in Florida, he has medical insurance, families and friends that can a least help. In Boston we will be in good hands at the hospital but in our own. Im a single mother of 3 , with very little and my husband passed away in 2012 , before I even knew I was expecting our 3 child. I'm not sure for how long I will be off from work or away from my kids.. but I'm sure that things will be possible if I have your help. Everything happens for a reason, I think this is the best one for my son. With mother instincts and all the love in my heart for him I will do everything in my power to easy this journey .
