Island Dragway Legal Fund

This Go Fund Me has been set up to help defray the legal costs incurred by Island Dragway related to the recent State of New Jersey issued Executive Order (EO) violation to the track. As one of the few remaining dragstrips in the Northeast and one of only two in the state of New Jersey, Island Dragway has been hit hard since March due to the state-imposed shutdown and restrictions related to COVID-19. Even with limited to no guidance as to crowd sizes, following multiple correspondence efforts to numerous state and local agencies, the track was able to open for the race season. Recently, however, Island Dragway was issued an EO violation due to crowd size, even though the track has been operating below 50% capacity and has been ensuring crowds are able to keep a minimum of 6-foot distancing. Please donate what you can to help the staff and management of Island Dragway defray the legal costs associated with resolving this issue and helping to keep the track open and drag racing alive and well in New Jersey and the Northeast Division.
