On October 30th our dear friend and beloved comrade, Isiah Flores, got in a brutal car accident on the way home from a shoot. The first responders had to use the jaws of life to remove him from his vehicle and he concussed upon impact with the other car. He fractured 6 ribs as well as his lower lumbar spine. He also broke both arms and has been having recurring neck pain.
For those of us that know and love Isiah, and have benefited from his fantastic work as a DP and camera operator, we understand how devastating an accident like this can be. We all know how athletic and physical filmmaking can be, and as a STEADICAM operator Isiah's body plays a huge role in creating the smooth magic our productions need. Isiah's bright spirit and determined work ethic brings so much life and love to all of the productions that are blessed enough to have him.
Isiah is a strong spirit and is recovering well but the long term impacts to his ability to work won't fully be understood until he is further down the road of recovery.
Let us come together to raise some money to help Isiah make it to the other side. All of the $$$ raised here will go directly to Isiah to help pay for medical bills, physically therapy, living expenses and production gear that got damaged in the accident.
