Hi! I'm Isabel, a final year medical student at University College London. I am going to spend 6 weeks at AIC Kijabe Hospital, Kenya as a short-term missionary of Africa Inland Mission for my medical elective. This is a fundraiser to help support this trip.

I have decided to complete my elective at Kijabe as I hope to explore medicine in a mission context, and to serve the Lord and the underprivileged in a less developed setting. Grateful for my skills and knowledge in medicine, I hope to learn how faith can be incorporated into a healthcare setting, and what it means to care for patients as a Christian doctor.

I am anticipating the total cost of the trip to be around £2500, including flights, local transport, accommodation, placement fees, vaccinations and medical expenses etc, where these funds would go towards.
