Isabella's Cochlear Implant

Isabella was born with profound hearing loss in her right ear and went totally deaf in her right ear at nine months old. She had moderate hearing loss in the left ear and went totally deaf in that ear about a year ago. She was fitted with hearing aids at six months old and when the right ear stopped responding with the hearing aid, her parents Krysten and Matt, fought for three years to get approved for her cochlear implant and she finally got it!
At four months old, Isa was diagnosed with Coats disease (blind right eye detached retina) and at two years old, she was diagnosed with Autism. After all the tests and genetic mapping, doctors still do not know what is causing her conditions.
Isa has now been approved for a Cochlear implant for her left ear. It's exciting but the expense is breathtaking.
Krysten's and Matt's out of pocket expense will be at least $10,000.00. Just to give their beautiful daughter a gift we all so easily take for granted; the ability to hear.
Isabella is smart, confident and strong. She is funny and fearless. She is a super star.
If we can all come together and donate, we can give her back the ability to hear.
