<div>Hi! I’ve been struggling with being physically disabled to some extent for much of my life, but I have never been unable to work due to my condition.

<div>In June of this year, I suffered a spinal cord injury that has left me unable to walk without severe pain. Much of my life has been consumed by pain and discomfort since my injury, and without the use of mobility assistive devices, I would be much less independent than I am.

<div>I have been lucky enough to secure a used wheelchair through the local community here in Colorado Springs, but unfortunately, I am having to perform repairs at an alarming frequency. 

</div>

<div>I am seeing a team of medical professionals, and am undergoing the process of being evaluated for a new wheelchair, which I am extremely grateful for the opportunity for. 

</div>

<div>However, this process is going to take 4 to 6 months at a minimum, and I’m not sure if my current wheelchair will last that long.

<div>all of the funds I collect will be used to help pay for the wheelchair and any costs associated with the evaluation for it (being fitted)
