Soul & Food - Help Isaac & Jenifer
This Go Fund Me which is being launched on 12/1/17 is a campaign is for Isaac & Jenifer. Isaac and Jenifer are two people who are the living embodiment of kindness, faith, beauty, discipline, community, talent, and LOVE.
I am starting this Go Fund Me campaign because Isaac and Jenifer dream of opening up a vegan and gluten-free cafe. The need for this kind of establishment became clear after Jenifer was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and Ulcerative Proctitis in 2013. This would be the first vegan and gluten-free cafe in the Berks County area. Along with the cafe, Jenifer will also offer nutritional coaching services. There will also be a yoga and reiki studio. Jenifer will continue to teach vocal lessons.
If this dream is fulfilled, it will not only benefit Jenifer and Isaac, this restaurant and wellness center will have the capability to positively impact our community in and around Reading, PA.
With over eighteen years of experience, Isaac has an extensive background in the culinary arts. Classically trained at JNA Institute in Philadelphia and ICE in New York he has held executive Chef positions in Philadelphia, Baltimore and locally in Reading, PA. Isaac is also a veteran who had additional training and work experience as a Culinary Specialist in the U.S. Navy. His passion for bringing healthy and delicious food to our area is unparalleled.

Jenifer already runs a successful Reiki studio.
Isaac & Jenifer are both certified yoga instructors.
Jenifer has worked as a professional singer twenty-eight years, she shares her knowledge and her incomparable gifts with her students. Jenifer is a well-known staple in the Berks County music scene.
Isaac and Jenifer are already such important members and mentors for the community. I believe that their having this cafe and wellness center will enhance their ability to share their astounding gifts with the community. As one friend recently stated via social media to Jenifer, "Both you and Isaac have so much to offer to people in ways of healing and good health." 
Jenifer and Isaac have found this beautiful space that would serve all of the cafe's and wellness centers needs.
Isaac and Jenifer have met with a financial advisor. Their initial goal that is 10K. This amount would enable them to secure the property, alterations, and permits from the city. It would also help cover initial equipment purchases and start-up fees.
