Daddy & Madi Spring Break in Uganda

When I was a little girl my Dad used to tell me "Daddy & Madi" stories every night before bed. In those stories we went on all kinds of adventures. We conquered dragons and defeated evil marauders. (words he actually used)
As I grew older I got to go on actual adventures with my Dad as we went to places like Haiti and Guatemala. We didn't fight dragons, but we did however fight poverty, oppression and hopelessness.
As my senior year comes to a close, life is moving at a very quick pace. All of my classmates are planning their respective spring breaks, and I have been given the opportunity to spend my final spring break as a high school student in Uganda. One final Daddy & Madi mission as a teenager. One more adventure before I step into being an adult.
This is a spectacular opportunity to use that time as wisely as possible. Instead of laying out on the beach, my father and I will be going with our organization Conduit Mission to Uganda.
I will get the opportunity to mentor teens in Uganda. I have been invited to join my dad on a national radio program to talk about purity. I'm also going to get to speak in different churches as well as spend time with a church founded by orphans who grew up in Uganda and are now giving back.
We will be given the chance to both pour into and be poured into by the locals and walk away with life lessons.
It's really important to me as I plan for my future that I get to invest in the future of others who maybe don't have the same hope that I do.
I can think of no better way to close out my final months as a high school student.
I am working a job but it's not enough to fund the journey. Would you pray about it and see if the Lord leads you to help me go?
