My dad was diagnosed in September of 2017 with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer with Sarcomatoid Features, which has turned into a mutation of 5 different kinds of cancers and has spread throughout his entire body. When he was first diagnosed the plan was for him to undergo Chemotherapy. He did one treatment and it totally wiped him out. Since this treatment his health has rapidly deteriorated and he is unable to proceed with anymore treatment.

My Mother and Brother are his care takers...at this point he needs 24 hour care. My other brother helps when he is not working.  My dad was always head of house hold paying all of the bills. He has not been able to work for going on 3 months my mom has applied for help but as we all know that takes time. It is extremely hard for me to be able to help take care of him with me just going  through this 2 years ago with my own husband. And it is even harder for me to sit and type this out for the world to see and I have put this off for as long as I possibly could but now it is time that I ask for help for my family. Hospice has been involved for a couple of weeks now and we are just trying to make my dad comfortable. Any little bit helps until my family can get back on their feet.
