female Ironworkers photo exhibit

Donation protected
For the past year I have been developing a photo exhibit called "Iron Maidens" which focuses on female ironworkers from St. Louis local 396. The final exhibit will feature printed and framed photography, object installations, and video projection. We hope that the exhibit can be used educate the public about the hard work these women and all ironworkers do on the job, and to increase awareness about the need for diversity and inclusion within the trades.  Our end goal is to create an exhibit that can be easily transported and displayed in galleries around the country. Your donations will go toward the printing and framing of these images on museum ready archival paper and towards logistics associated with getting the exhibit ready to be displayed in a gallery setting. The slides below explain a bit more about the project and offer examples pulled from the final collection.

We hope you consider donating to our efforts to tell this story. We look forward to updating you with our progress as things develop.
