TEAM USA BMX World Championships!

Please help Dallas Gardner represent TEAM USA at the 2018 UCI BMX World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. Dallas is a 7th grade honor student at Quiocassin Middle School in Henrico, VA. He has been racing exactly two years  and in this short time has developed a love for the sport and has excelled in it. Dallas is the 2017 Virginia State Champion for both the 12 Expert and Cruiser classes. He also won the 2017 Northeast Gold Cup Championship for 12 Intermediate and earned the #3 Gold Cup plate in cruiser. He was seventh out of all riders of any age in Virginia earning the #7 District plate. Currently, he is number 1 in points out of all riders in Virginia in class and on cruiser. He is also 14th in the nation at this time in Cruiser . For clarity, cruiser is a type of bike with a 24” diameter wheel as opposed to the 20” diameter wheel in class. Dallas’ success is not just on the track. He is an honor student, usually making all A’s. He does drop to a “B” in algebra at times.  In February, he qualified to be on Team USA and compete in the UCI BMX World Championships. However, Team USA offers no financial assistance for this great honor and privilege. We have conservatively estimated the costs of this endeavor to be $7,500.00 which will cover licensing, registration, travel, lodging, meals, and transportation in Baku. We are diligently working hard to raise funds for this great opportunity. Dallas is the "Only" person from Virginia that will be representing Team USA at these World Championships. I  am not just asking for help on GoFundMe but also installing the value of hard work in Dallas in these efforts as well. He participated in the 1st Childrens Business Fair In Richmond on March 10, 2018 where he sold string art, crayon art, and homemade Play Dough in efforts to raise money. He will be cutting yards, washing cars, and continuing to sell various items along with his art to earn money for this trip.  Dallas is actively involved in his school having held offices in student government, participates in multiple clubs, runs track, manages soccer, and wrestled previously.
