Irish Go Green for John!

As many know, John Coutilish unexpectedly passed away a year ago. A boisterous Notre Dame Law School student, a zealous fan of Michigan State football, a loving family man, and a talented lawyer, John is sorely missed. John is survived by his wife, Theresa, and his three children, George, Ben, and Alex, and they need our help. John was a sole law practitioner, the primary breadwinner in the family, and unfortunately had no life insurance.
At the time of his death, John had many medical problems. He was scheduled for by-pass surgery weeks before he died, to be followed by a kidney transplant, having lost one of his kidneys to cancer. Despite these challenging medical ailments, John was confident that he was going to survive and continue practicing law for a very long time. Unfortunately, God had another plan for John and he passed away peacefully in his sleep following a dialysis session.
Theresa is doing all that she can to support the family, but her life has been turned upside down. She has gotten a new job, has listed the house for sale, and is taking advantage of social programs to reduce her expenses. Despite these efforts, she is dipping into her savings each month to make ends meet. Since John’s death, Theresa has faced challenges that would rival those of Job, yet she presses on.
Notre Dame classmates have already generously donated $12,000 to cover John's funeral expenses. At this point, the best way we can help John’s family is to raise enough funds to help pay for a small condo that Theresa has just purchased. With the sale of her house, she anticipates a shortfall of about $75,000. Thus, we have made this shortfall the goal of our fundraising campaign. While the money will not solve all of Theresa’s problems, it will help relieve some of the financial distress that she currently is experiencing.
