Irish Wheelchair Association Clare Branch

Hi. My name is Sinead and I am fundraising for the service users of the Irish wheelchair Association Clare Branch. Like every one in society these people have been deeply affected by covid and have not had the opportunity or funding to avail of any activities in the last 18months. As an able bodied person I am grateful that I can enjoy leisure activities on a regular basis, but these service users are dependent on other people for the most basic daily needs. As we are now entering a new phase of the covid pandemic, it is my wish for these people who have accepted their physical disabilities with good grace, to get out and have some fun. There has not been any fundraising due to covid so this is the first opportunity to collect funding for such a good cause. As part of this fundraising event a cycle of the loophead peninsula will take place on the 16th October 2021, and I will endeavour to have as many of the service users as possible out on the day to be part of an outdoor activity. These people will benefit directly from all fundraising donations. I thank you for taking the time to read this and every single cent will help bring light, hope and fun to these people
