The ITAA Benevolent Trustees have organised a fundraiser, a three day Charity walk on the Camino this April. I have signed up to participate !
The ITAA Benevolent fund was set up in 1993. The purpose of the fund is to offer financial assistance to fellow Travel Industry Members who are experiencing difficulties.
Typically the Trustees are approached by a third party that knows of someone who might need a helping hand.
Once the Trustees are made aware of a needy colleague they are appointed a Trustee, or if they prefer, they can select who they would like to deal with form the four board members .
It is important to note that all of the work is carried out in the strictest of confidence
The ITAA Benevolent fund is a registered Charity and is audited on an annual basis.
I am looking forward to join with my like minded Travel Trade colleagues on this great fund raising event and am grateful for any donations you can offer to assist me reaching my goal.
