Hello everyone, as you all know Iris is still battling Cancer. Here's an update since the last GoFundMe, which was a huge success and we are so thankful to all who contributed! Unfortunately, Iris' initial aggressive treatment didn't work. The cancer spread to her lung and  her Sarcoma Medical Team decided to change her treatment. She is now receiving 2 types of chemo, one targets the sarcoma (in her breast) and the other is targeting the Lung. She has been on this treatment for the past few months, and it looks like it's working. It has stopped the growth of the nodules, the next step in shrinking them. 

Now, with all that being said we are continuing to visit her, send her money, pay for her expenses and fly Dylan (her son) to see her. We do think that the pandemic has taken its toll on her mentally because, she misses social interaction with family and friends. She definitely misses El Paso and her work. The best thing for her is to stay in Houston because she does have one of the top Doctors in the  world treating her. 

We realize money is always short during the holidays but we do ask for your contribution once again.
