Ireland Lacrosse needs your help! The U-19 team is a few months away from competing in their first ever World Cup in Peterborough, Ontario- competition will take place August 1st-10th on the campuses of Fleming College and Trent University. Ireland Lacrosse is a 100% volunteer led organization, which makes our team dependent on membership fees, fundraising, donations and payments from players to support the continued development of the sport throughout the country. All funds raised will be used to provide our players with equipment, apparel, food, beverage, training facilities, lodging, travel and miscellaneous costs that arise during the World Cup Tournament. The contributions from this campaign will benefit the team as a whole, as opposed to the sponsorship of an individual player. Not only will your donation be supporting the dreams of a group of young lacrosse players, but it is also tax deductible. We are thrilled to announce the 18 players who will represent Ireland at the 2019 U-19 World Cup: (https://main.irelandlacrosse.ie/2019/02/15/ireland-roster-announced-for-u19-womens-world-championship/) Emma Austin Louisa Brophy Maeve Bruen Orla Buggy Auguste Burke Eimear Fitzpatrick Katharine Forst Louise Kiely Amanda Lynch Catherine McCarthy Fireanna O’Brien Tara O’Sullivan Imogen Raleigh Megan Ross Georgia Scott Olivia Truesdell Jula Tully Lily Walsh We are excited to have the opportunity to compete on the World Stage and provide a once in a lifetime experience to the U-19 players. It would not be possible without your support! Become an honorary member of the team bypurchasing gear, purchasing gear (https://teespring.com/stores/womens-u19-national-team-2019), attending our events, following us on social media (@irelandlacrosse) and cheering us on this August in Canada!
