Help Stolen Goats

My name is Marigrace Hoag and I am the owner of LoveKnot Farm in Canajoharie , NY.  On Monday night, December 8th 2014 someone stole 21 of my dairy goats.  My fence had been cut and drag marks were evident on the ground, tufts of fur were left behind from my struggling goats. 

These goats are more than a source of milk they are also our family pets that my children take great pride in showing at fairs.  These purebred goats are all registered and have ear tattos.  It's because of this reason that they were found so quickly. 

After the finding the pasture empty I feared the worst for them, that someone would butcher them for meat.  After calling the sheriffs the word was put out on Facebook and mass emails.  A Good Samaritan responded promptly.  He had purchased the goats through Craigslist.  And the goats had been delivered to his Endicott, NY home.   
On Wednesday, December 11th I traveled with truck and trailer to the Binghampton Area to retrieve my goats.  This journey took 12 hours and cost over $200.00 in gas.  I was so relieved to find them alive but was shocked to see how badly they were manhandled.  Nearly every goat appeared to be traumatized.  The youngest kid was curled under a hay rack weak and shaking.  Many have suffered severe bruising and muscle damage to the point they can hardly walk.  Also they are suffering from pneumonia and possible miscarriage most likely to the brutal way they were transported.

Now at home the healing begins.  However, I am asking for your help in meeting the veterinary bills because my insurance doesn't help with these costs. I intend to nurse my goats back to health and to do everything possible to save each animal with your support and that of friends.
