<div>Hello everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re creating this GoFundMe during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for our family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Irakli Kalandia is a 32-year-old Georgian man, a husband and father to a six-year-old daughter. He emigrated to the United States about a year ago, and he has been working hard to build a stable, peaceful life for his family. Irakli has a valid work permit and his immigration paperwork is in order. He is a kind, calm, hardworking person who has done his best to do everything the right way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite this, Irakli was recently detained in the United States by ICE. Our family is shocked and heartbroken, and we are now trying to navigate a complex immigration legal process as quickly and responsibly as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, Irakli urgently needs to fund experienced immigration legal representation so he has a fair chance to defend his case through the proper legal process. Unfortunately, immigration attorneys and court-related expenses are extremely costly, and the total is more than our family can afford on our own.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why we’re asking for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised will go directly toward:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>1. Hiring an experienced immigration attorney
</div>
<div>2. Legal filings and court-related fees
</div>
<div>3. Any other necessary costs to support his case
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any contribution—$5, $10, or anything you can give—will make a real difference. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much and helps us reach people who may be able to support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any kindness, support, and solidarity you can offer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, we are hoping to reunite Irakli with his wife Ana and his daughter Anine as soon as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div>The Kalandia family
