ALHS Improvements

Greetings Everyone, The Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society wants to thank everyone in advance who reads this campaign. Our headquarters is the Lock Ridge Memorial Presbyterian Church. The church was built in 1870 for the workers and families who worked for the Thomas Iron Company in Alburtis. It's truly is a amazing church. Within the past year, The Borough of Alburtis took over the ownership of the church and plans of restoring it to its glory. The only thing is is that borough's cannot fundraise for funding to do such projects. Our Historical Society is starting to fundraise in an effort to raise necessary funds to perform interior improvements to our museum area. As a non-profit we, the Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society receive no outside help with funding. We receive no monies from the Alburtis Borough nor any other government entity for our day to day expenses, including any improvements, insurances or fees. The only way we can survive is to fundraise and through our yearly membership drive. Thank you
