Gloria's fund

My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Her first chemo treatment was on December 1, 2014 and she will have them twice a month for 6 months. She has her treatment at the center, and then must bring a second treatment home with her that she must be connected to for 36 hrs.  After the 36 hrs she goes back to return it and at that time she receives her iron iv. She hasn't been able to work since right before her diagnoses.  She does have insurance , but it doesn't cover everything like the "magic mouthwash" she needs to use for the effects of the chemo, and it doesn't pay for the fuel to get back and forth to her numerous doctors appointments. When she told me that she was worried about how to come up with $3000 for the next round of chemo before the insurance will take over,  my heart sank. I have felt so helpless since I was first told of her diagnoses. My mom is one of a kind, she is my best friend,  and the most amazing nana in the world.  She has been by my side through everything, and she has always put her family first, making sure we have always had what we wanted or needed. I will try everything in my power to make sure for once she has what she needs, and to try my hardest to lessen some of the stress on her. Thank you so much.
