IQ Foundation Gym
Donation protected
Hi, Nicholas and Xavier here, and we are the founders of the IQ Foundation, a charity based in North West London dedicated to using boxing as a way to engage and uplift the local community and its youth.
Our charity collaborates with local schools to promote fitness and healthy living, provides activities for the elderly to engage with others outside their homes, and runs an amateur boxing club that has produced several champions and helped participants find employment, education, or training opportunities.
Our primary mission is to offer a supportive and accessible environment where youth and residents can participate in boxing and fitness activities without financial burdens, especially during these challenging times.
Unfortunately, our journey has faced a significant hurdle. The building that houses our cherished gym is very old and requires urgent repairs. Last week, the roof partially collapsed, making the space unsafe. Additionally, our toilet and shower facilities are outdated and present safety risks.
To continue serving our community, we urgently need to raise £10,000. The funds will be used for:
- Replacing the damaged roof to ensure the safety and security of our gym space.
- Renovating the toilet and shower facilities to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users.
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to engage in physical activities and develop their skills in a safe space, regardless of their financial situation. By subsidising our costs, we've remained committed to this cause, but now we're reaching out for your support.
Every donation, big or small, will bring us one step closer to getting back on our feet and continuing to serve our community. If you're unable to donate, sharing our campaign with your networks would also make a huge impact.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can ensure that the IQ Foundation remains a beacon of hope and strength in North West London.
Sincerely,
Nicholas and Xavier - IQ Foundation
