Help Pay Alan's Medical Bills!

Let me tell you about Alan, if you don't know him already. He is one of the funniest, wittiest guys I know. He is also incredibly caring and utterly loves his wife Stef and their three year old son Patrick. He's a stay at home Dad and often talks about how much he loves watching his son grow up and taking care of him.
This past October, Alan went to the emergency room with chest pains. He left the hospital - almost two weeks later, after intensive open heart surgery and then recovery. This was a shocking surprise - Alan's only 40 years old and his condition was genetic.
The good news - He is doing amazingly well - he's able to walk 45 minutes on his own and his doctors are amazed at his progress. He's on his way to a swift recovery.
The bad news - Alan's medical bills, even with the insurance, are staggering for this small family. The current amount is $10,000 (Stef was able to get it lowered from $25K.)
Alan and Stef feel weird about asking for money which is why I am stepping in and setting up this Go Fund Me Campaign. Any donation you can give will be directly help pay for Alan's medical bills, so he can focus directly on his recovery, rather than worry about paying for these overwhelming medical bills.
