Hi Everyone,
We've created this funding page to help Dorota meet expenses she now has to face upon the tragic passing of her partner Mark.
As many of you probably know, Dorota lives in humble surroundings a few hours north of San Francisco. Her health brought her to seek a more gentle lifestyle outside of the bustle of our great city. Together with Mark, she created a simple life cultivating a garden, chickens, domesticated rats and Mark's beloved pythons. As many partners do, they cultivated a balance by helping eachother meet day to day expenses, tasks and responsibilities.
Unfortunately, the sad and unexpected nature of Mark's passing has left a huge number of things for Dorota to attend to immediately. Amongst them are funeral costs, Mark's share of the rent due January 1st and a sundry of other bills.
Please donate what you can, it will make an enormous difference for her and help ease this difficult transition over the next few months. In this modern world we live in money is the one element we can't avoid needing from time to time.
There are times in life when we are dealt a load and burden that is too great. At such times, friends arise and define their inherent value. Know beyond the shadow of any doubt that with every dollar you give the return will be tenfold in the knowing that without you things would be less bright. You are the light. You are her faith. She needs us right now more than ever. Let's be there the way we all know how... As someone who returned to SF from a great life across the waters I can attest to the huge heart and value this community has when it's needed. Those values are why I came back here and I know that everyone who reads this cares enough to give whatever they can. So please don't hesitate and help bring an avalanche of hope back into Dorota's life.
