Meredith's Miracle Baby

Donation protected

My name is Tatum. In the spring of 2013 I made the choice to donate my eggs to someone who is now a very special friend of mine, Meredith Urry. It was a long, hard procedure that ended in a lot of heartbreak. Of the 50+ eggs I produced, only 3 survived. Meredith tried 2 and both failed. Now there is just 1 left. You can read mine and Meredith's whole story here in my blog.

That's me on the left, and my beautiful friend and hopefully soon to be mommy x3, Meredith on the right.

I continue to try to convince Meredith to try my very last frozen egg. (I call it Nemo). However, Meredith and her family have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars, not only on the egg donor process, but on adoption agencies as well. The absolutely adorable baby girl in the photo here is Molly. Meredith and her family took Molly into their home recently for an entire month under the impression that they would be legally adopting her. It was about a 95% chance Molly was theirs. Their 2 adopted children fell IN LOVE with their new baby sister. On the day that the Urry family was supposed to get the final paperwork to finalize Molly's adoption, she was taken away. The foster mom took her back for what was supposed to be a few hours. It's now been a few weeks and they still have yet to even hear from the foster mom, who currently has Miss Molly.

Time and time again Meredith and her family have gotten their hopes up, ready to expand their family, only for my donation to basically fail, and mulitple potential adoptions to fail as well.

Here's where we are now. I've tried for over a year to convince Meredith to try to get pregnant with my LAST egg I gave her. The issue upon us now is that it costs about $3,000 for the egg transfer. From day 1 until now, the Urrys have spent approximately $30,000 trying for a 3rd child. At this point all funds have been exhausted and they simply can't afford the extra money to try AGAIN for the baby they so badly want.

I have taken it upon myself to attempt to raise the $3,000 they need to make their final attempt at getting pregnant with my egg. After posting my story of my donation, so many people shared, commented, and liked it. It absolutely melts my heart to see so many people inspired by my story and I can't thank everyone enough for the kind and encouraging words.

My story has a little over 1000 views now and I'm hoping if all 1000 of those people could donate just 2 or 3 dollars, I could raise enough to give to Meredith and her family to try for their miracle baby. It would mean the world to me and Meredith as well as her husband and children to see this work. NO ONE deserves it more than them.

Feel free to ask any questions regarding my experience, my relationship with this family, or anything else.

And thanks again everyone for the prayers. Here's to staying positive and to never stop trying.

Sincerely,

Tatum
