Did you know that your running shoes could help a Kenyan athlete win the next Olympic Games?
In your shoes is a group of Italian guys that support athletes from all over the world. By collecting your shoes, labelling them with your name and then bringing them to Kenya, we empower those who live in difficult conditions to fight for their dream.
Send us your second hand shoes and help us take them to their destinations by contributing to the shipping costs

Where: Iten, Kenya.
For the third year, In Your Shoes is collecting your running shoes and clothes and will gov them to young Kenyan athletes, helping them to fulfill their dream of becoming world champions.
Our destination? St. Patrick high school in Iten. Since 1961 this school has educated thousands of students. Thanks to it’s athletic program, it has trained dozens of athletes who have won dozens of gold medals and broken dozens of records.
Our goal is to build a cultural bridge between donors and recipients, a relationship that will be fixed in all of our hearts for generations to come.
For this reason, we will make a documentary and a photo report to tell stories from near and far, yours and theirs. Our project aims to show your shoes in the hands of the person who receives them, to start a relationship between you and a far away athlete.

Please remember to wash the clothes and shoes. Write your first and last name on everything you will send. We will take a picture of every person holding your shoes so that you will know who their next owner is. You might be able to say that you donated your shoes to the next world champion.
Send your shoes as soon as possible. They must arrive by the 13th of April.

2. Make a donation!
In order to be sure that your shoes arrive at their destination, the IYS team will leave from Rome to handle customs at Mombasa harbour and will travel will the shoes to Iten, where the donation will take place.
Even 15/20 euros per pair shoes could be enough to cover the expenses (shipping and land transportation).

In Your Shoes è un gruppo di ragazzi italiani che supporta gli sportivi di tutto il mondo, raccogliendo le vostre scarpe scariche, etichettandole una ad una con il vostro nome, e portandole in Kenya per spronare chi è nato nelle difficoltà a lottare per il proprio sogno.
Mandaci le tue scarpe di seconda mano e aiutaci a farle giungere a destinazione contribuendo ai costi del trasporto.

In Your Shoes, per il terzo anno consecutivo, raccoglierà le tue scarpe da corsa ed i tuoi indumenti da running e li donerà ai giovani atleti Keniani, spingendoli a realizzare il sogno di diventare i campioni del mondo.
La nostra destinazione?
La St. Patrick's High School di Iten.
Questa scuola dal 1961 oltre a dare un’istruzione a migliaia di ragazzi, grazie al suo programma di atletica, ha anche formato decine di atleti, vinto decine di medaglie d’oro e distrutto decine di record mondiali.
Il nostro obiettivo non è solamente quello di portare materiale tecnico, ma anche quello di costruire un ponte culturale ed emotivo tra chi dona e chi riceve, creando un legame che trascende la materia fisica della scarpa e che rimarrà impresso nei cuori di quelle persone, alimentando il loro sogno anche negli anni a venire.
Proprio per questo motivo realizzeremo un video documentario e una raccolta di foto, per raccontare le loro storie e le vostre storie.
Il nostro progetto è mostrarvi le vostre scarpe in mano al ragazzo che le ha ricevute, dando il via ad un legame indissolubile fra voi ed un atleta lontano migliaia di chilometri.

Ricordati di lavare le scarpe ed il tuo materiale tecnico in lavatrice. Scrivi il tuo nome e cognome su ogni cosa che ci spedirai. Scatteremo una foto ad ogni ragazzo con in mano la tua scarpa, così saprai chi sarà il suo nuovo proprietario e potrai dire di avergli regalato le tue scarpe quando diventerà campione del mondo.
Spedisci le tue scarpe il prima possibile, le scarpe dovranno arrivare entro il 13 Aprile 2019

Per assicurarci che le scarpe arrivino effettivamente a destinazione il team di IYS partirà da Roma per sbrigare le pratiche doganali di importazione al porto di Mombasa e scorterà il convoglio fino ad Iten, dove provvederà alla donazione.
Anche solamente 15/20€ per ogni scarpa potrebbero bastare a coprire le spese che sosterremo per la spedizione navale e per il trasporto sul territorio.
