Inwood Community Services Fundraiser
Tax deductible
During this 2020 holiday season (as it has done for decades), ICS is sponsoring a fundraising campaign to provide needy neighborhood families with turkeys for Thanksgiving and toys for their children for the holidays. Families are given a voucher to a neighborhood supermarket to pick up a free turkey or a gift card to purchase toys. No donation amount is too small and all donations will go directly to families in need!
Note: Twenty dollars ($20) will buy a turkey for a family. Gift cards for toys will be distributed in twenty-five dollar ($25) denominations.
Contributors can donate to one or both of the drives, and can earmark it on their donation!
Inwood Community Services has been a vital part of the Inwood neighborhood for over 40 years and provides mental health counseling, addiction dependency counseling, English as a second language classes, afterschool, summer youth programs and more. We are still working hard to fulfill our mission during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency.
Although our offices are currently closed due to the COVID-19 health crisis, Inwood Community Services continues to serve our community. We have transferred our programs to remote models and are working on ways to help those most affected by the pandemic.
In addition to all of our programs, ICS is in the process of addressing a growing need in our community: food insecurity consequent to the economic impact of COVID-19. We are currently seeking donations to provide Thanksgiving meals and Holiday toys to Inwood families in need. Please help us to reach our goal!
