Discover how this transformative book, initially self-published in 2018 has blossomed into a comprehensive resource. Now encompassing additional women and landmarks, the guidebook boasts five immersive tours spanning from the far south side to the bustling downtown streets to west side neighborhoods, encapsulating the rich tapestry of Chicago's diverse communities.

<div>The short film is a creative project developed by the authors Essence McDowell and Mariame Kaba in collaboration with filmmaker <a href="https://instagram.com/sensitivevisuals" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tom Callahan of Sensitive Visuals</a>. It is in documentary film format, created to educate, inform and inspire.
