Invest in Malik's Potential to Change the World

Amidst the tremendous chaos and instability of our world, our youth play a pivotal role in shaping the future of humanity.  The future of our people and planet depends on visionary thinkers and creators who can build evolutionary innovations and approaches for new models and ways of life, rather than just  fixing the problems of our current paradigm.

The youth of this time are less constrained by the challenges of our current systems and can more clearly see and create new possibilities for our world.

Hestia Retreat Center in Mount Shasta, CA is launching a Winter Incubator Program to be the birthplace for a beautiful new world that we hope is possible-- a world that is thriving, vibrant, equitable, joyful and harmonious with the earth.

They have selected 4 promising visionaries from different generations, vocations and walks of life to incubate their creations for 4 months this winter in one of these key priority areas:

-Alternative modalities for wellness, healing and personal growth
-Art (in any form) that inspires greater consciousness and transformation
-Life-giving, environmentally sustainable living and building practices

Malik Amir Hill is an 18-year old musical genius from Sacramento, CA.  He plays 9 different instruments and is the youngest visionary selected for Hestia's Winter Incubator Program.  He will be completing his senior year at John F Kennedy High School  this year.

As an earth sign and lover of nature, Malik has spent time in Ghana, West Africa and traveled to numerous state and national parks throughout the United States.  Malik visited Hestia Retreat Center with his mother this summer and felt a strong personal connection to the land.

In addition to cultivating his love and passion for music as a creative form of healing for himself and others, Malik believes that, "if off-grid living is sustainable and accessible to all, global economies would grow stronger and more people in the world will be brought out of poverty.  Thus, overall human consciousness could rise by moving beyond working to just pay the bills.  With our basic survival needs met through alternative energy sources, humans all over the planet can experience the freedom of more time to cultivate their creative pursuits, much like my passion for music. "

From January to April 2021, Malik will receive mentorship support and space on Hestia's 10-acre sanctuary to develop a working prototype for his vision for off-grid living while completing his senior year of high school online.  He plans to experiment with various alternative energy technologies, such as powering HHO cells stored in lithium ion batteries, for living off grid on Hestia’s newest 20-foot yurt. Malik will then replicate the most promising sustainable energy solutions in Hestia’s other 2 yurts to support the retreat center’s goal for financial and environmental sustainability.

This holiday season, Malik is raising $7,800 to cover the following costs of the winter incubator program starting on January 11, 2021 (any additional funds will be donated to Malik to support his future and vision):

$5,800:  4-month accommodations and work space at Hestia (he will self-fund $1,000)

$2,000:  Materials for Malik to build his alternative energy prototypes

The Hestia team will be donating additional mentorship time to develop Malik’s entrepreneurship skills and coach him on the project management aspects of his pilot project. We have also identified a technical mentor, an expert in implementing large-scale, off grid overseas projects, to develop the skills needed for his alternative energy project.

Support the future of humanity by investing in talented youth like Malik to develop their visions and their purpose early on in their life journeys through the Winter Incubator Program at Hestia Retreat Center !
