<div>Mit unserer Firma CJ´s 2016 SARL in Guinea haben wir ein nachhaltiges Sozialunternehmen aufgebaut. Gemeinsam mit europäischen Partnern produzieren wir den Energy Drink „Golden Lion Energy“.

<div><strong>Warum ist mir das wichtig? Ein paar persönliche Gedanken:</strong>

<div>Mehr als zehn Jahre ist es her, dass viele intensive Gespräche mit einem Freund meine Augen und mein Herz für Afrika geöffnet haben.
</div>

</div>
<div>Als ich 2016 zum ersten Mal Guinea besuchte, wohnte ich nicht in einem Hotel oder Luxusapartment. Ich lebte mitten unter den Menschen – dort, wo Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und Zusammenhalt den Alltag prägen.
</div>

<div>Überall begegnete mir eine beeindruckende Lebensfreude.
</div>
<div>Und das trotz Armut, Arbeitslosigkeit und oft fehlender Perspektiven.
</div>

<div>Diese Reise hat mein Leben verändert.

</div>
<div>Für mich eröffnete sich eine neue Welt – und gleichzeitig die Erkenntnis:

<div>Hier möchte ich helfen.

<div>My name is Carsten Riedel.

<div>I am a co-founder and chairman of the NGO “africa aid project e.V.” in Berlin.

<div>For many years, our organisation has been working in Guinea and other countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Together with our network of over 170 NGOs and social enterprises across 31 countries, we are pursuing a clear goal:

<div><strong>Why is this important to me? A few personal thoughts:</strong>

</div>
<div>It has been more than ten years since a series of in-depth conversations with a friend opened my eyes and my heart to Africa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I visited Guinea for the first time in 2016, I didn’t stay in a hotel or a luxury apartment. I lived amongst the people – where hospitality, warmth and solidarity shape everyday life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everywhere I went, I encountered an impressive zest for life.
</div>
<div>And this despite poverty, unemployment and often a lack of prospects.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That journey changed my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A whole new world opened up to me – and with it the realisation:
</div>
<div>This is where I want to help.
</div>
<div>This is where I want to make a difference.
</div>
<div>This is where change can happen.
</div>

<div>Africa – the cradle of humanity.

<div>And yet so often forgotten by the world.

<div>That is why I am fighting, together with many wonderful people, for education, jobs, prospects and hope.
