With the invaluable gifts, <strong>we were able to raise $23,575</strong> from individuals all across the country to fund an impactful varsity baseball season for <strong>17 Carver Vocational-Technical High School students</strong>.

<div>After winning consecutive city championships, <strong>Carver baseball moved up to Division I</strong> in Baltimore City School play for the 2024 season.

<li>In the more competitive division we scored 95 runs, stole 90 bases, blasted 61 hits, 16 doubles, 3 triples, and a home run. We recorded 217 outs - all good for a <strong>third place</strong> season finish - out of six teams.

<li>Finishing in the top half of this division is truly a success, and we are proud of the competing student-athletes for their dedication and commitment. <strong>Six of our students have graduated and are either working or attending their first year of college</strong>!

<div>In 2025, we are planning to work with construction trade students to convert underutilized space (74’ x 24’) in Carver’s basement into a hitting and pitching center. Also next season, we are launching the “Trades Cup” game between Carver and Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School, the historic vocational high school on the east side of Baltimore city to celebrate the importance of vocational education.
