Invasion of the Scrotum Snatchers

Donation protected

With heavy heart I announce that one of my brothers Paul Sedrak, has been diagonsed with testicular cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes around his chest.

Discovered at the tender age of 25 with no notable symptoms or indications he had anything wrong, yet sadly it is in the later stages. He was on the verge of travelling around the world after just quiting his job, which is now indefinately suspended, after a series of travel injections and routine check ups reveled the terrifying news.

The tests revealed that one testicle was now completed replaced by tumors and was spreading. So within a week of the initial results, his right testicle was recently removed through The Valley Private Hospital. Lovingly knicknamed 'invasion of the scrotum snatchers'. He doesn't have health insurance and waiting the 4+ weeks for public was to dangerous and not advised.

We are currently awaiting test results and he is out of action for a few weeks while he recovers. Now that the surgery is completed he will hopefully move into the public sector to continue treatment, thus cutting down costs. <3

Our main priority is to raise at least enough money to cover his current medical and hopsital bills, which has accumlated at $4000. We are still in early days of the treatment though, so any extra money raised would be wonderful to help cover any future costs as treatment is unclear at this stage. It will also help us to establish a clean, comfortable and healthy environment for him to focus on his recovery. Ultimately it will help him to alleviate stress and keep his financial independence  and some shred of his humanity.

Once treatment is finalised all of the remaining money raised will be donated to the Peter MacCallum
Cancer Foundation. Paul's treatment will most likely take place through Peter Mac and they help and touch so many lives with their generosity.

We also want to use this funding campaign to raise awareness for testicular cancer and encourage everyone (males and females) to get consisent medical tests as early dectection is important and save lives. If Paul had caught this tumor at 1cm he would still have his testicle, and many other people could still be alive today.

He is a very positive person and despite his set backs is in high spirits and staying optimistic. This was not quite the adventure he was expecting but with your support we can help Paul get back on his feet and help with his financial strain. I am hoping to keep his morale and quality of life up high for some turbulant times to come, so any donations would be highly appreciated.

Important: If you want to enter into the running for prizes make sure you scroll down to the rewards and buy a ticket! Otherwise I  wont get any details from winners through direct donations.
