Into the fire: Running with hoses

In February of 2017 at the suggestion of a friend I joined our local volunteer fire department.  My experiences so far have drawn me into a world of dedication, fearlessness and comradery the likes of which I've never experienced.  Training for exterior and interior has introduced me to a group of "kids" whose story I feel compelled to investigate and tell.  What motivates a 16 year old to dedicate his/her life to the fire service?  To be driven after school and spend countless hours training?  Who are their mentors and teachers?  This documentary will delve into the volunteer fire service and pay tribute to the many men & women---young and old who have dedicated their lives to saving yours.
