Building the House, Ensenada

Dear Family and Friends,
I'm so excited to share this news with you. My church & I are teaming up for a missions group that will be building the facilities on the property that Centerpoint own in Ensenada, Mexico. Our church is engaged in a variety of overseas ministry opportunities, but our Mexico outreach has become a staple of who we are.
About four times per year we build a house for a family in need in Mexico, usually in the Ensenada area barrios. We have partnered with Hands of Mercy and Pouring Out Hope to engage in these outreaches. Our approach is unique; we have a house building day in our church parking lot where about 50 people come build the house in components. The pieces are then stacked on a trailer and then a month later we take a team of 25 people down to Mexico where we then build and install the house, complete with patio, loft, plumbing and electricity, if available.
On this trip, we'll be visiting Ensenada to help build the facilities on the land Centerpoint owns. We have a vision to build this center into a base for church leaders in the area to host missionaries and train outreach leaders to be able to preach the good news clearly and with a vision for God's move.
Most importantly, we are devoted to serving the local people and developing relationships with them. This was Christ’s model for evangelism and we are excited to be a part of the Great Commission in Mexico. Additionally, our team will be building beds for others to stay on the property and sharing the love of Christ with the people in the local community. Our ultimate aim is to reach the people of Ensenada with the Love of Christ.
