International Images Film Festival for Women 2022
Donation protected
Hi!
IIFF thinks it is really important for African women to see good films. Especially films that are relevant to them and films made by women of colour. We are starting up our festival after Covid stopped the festival for two years.
IIFF stands for International Images Film Festival For Women, a film festival for women by women in Harare, Zimbabwe. We need your help. Please donate to help us pay the women from South Africa, Cameroon, Brazil and other countries their screening fees, to hire good venues for the women who come to the festival, and to create this year's festival literature and branding.

IIFF 2022 update.
Hi there!
We would proudly like to say that the International Images Film Festival for Women was a success! The come back of IIFF 2022 was a heart warming event. The attendance was good considering that we were coming back from a two year hiatus caused by Covid 19. We worked well with our supporters and partners, both new and old. IIFF made lasting relationships that are still growing. We were also happy to host our international guests from Cameroon, Spain, Kenya and Bangladesh. Stories for women by women were told and the audience listened. We even believe that the collection of films we showed, helped a lot of women who are at different crossroads in their lives overcome and make decisions that positively impact their lives. The events that were at IIFF included a press conference, directing, producing and acting masterclasses, film screenings followed by discussions as well as hosting of the opening and closing awards ceremonies. A lot of women benefited from IIFF 2022 and we are happy that we achieved our objectives and completed the IIFF mission which is to increase engagement in our communities with issues of gender equality through providing communities with alternative narratives on gender.
So we would like to say, Thank you. Your support gave us courage and strength to make this event a success. We couldn't have done it without you. We look forward to maintaining our relationship with you for many IIFFs to come.
Best regards
The ICAPA Team.
