Insulin Pump for Franklin.

Franklin, age 6, has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which is an autoimmune disease that cannot be prevented or cured. Franklins body no longer produces the insulin needed to turn the carbohydrates he eats, into energy. 

Franklin is currently receiving 5 injections a day, however we would like to purchase an insulin pump for Franklin which would provide him with a better quality of life, and more effective blood glucose control. Our 9 year old daughter Haylee, also has type 1 diabetes and we have seen first hand how beneficial an insulin pump can be and how it can relieve the anxiety of facing multiple daily injections.
