Hi everyone!
Phil, Jane, Stanley, and I have been so overwhelmed and touched that so many people reached out after Stan's Cystic Fibrosis diagnosis at seven-days-old. We continue to be amazed and grateful for the continued support and offers of help that come our way every day.
Thankfully, we've gotten into a pretty good rhythm with Stan's day-to-day medications. As of today (6/18/18) he takes enzymes with every bottle, we sprinkle salt in his bottles to help him replenish the salt that he loses in his sweat, and his formula has been boosted to add more calories and to hopefully help him put on more weight. Healthy body weight = better lung function, and he's almost to ten pounds!
We're still catching up on some old medical bills, with plenty more coming our way. This is honestly the only thing I can think of that we need help with right now. Please don't feel obligated to contribute! We've heard from basically everybody we know since this crazy ordeal started. But, if you are trying to think of a way to help, we really need to tackle this mess next. Oh, and funny GIFs on Facebook are always appreciated.
I had originally started this fund before Stan was born to share with just my immediate family for help with medical bills instead of Christmas and Birthday gifts, but so many people have reached out to ask what they can do, I changed the focus and am sharing it with all of you.
