MRANI is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to recognise and showcase excellence among Minority communities while helping them to integrate socially and professionally. The project has a specific focus on the development of professional and business opportunities for Minority individuals, creating equal opportunity pathways to support them in contributing to the local and national economy.

The existence of differences within a particular framework is called diversity. The practice of ensuring that people with these differences feel a sense of connection and encouragement is called inclusion. Minorities Recognition Awards NI (MRANI) exists to reduce bias and promote unity in the workplace and celebrate diversity. Fostering equality, cultural diversity and inclusion is a major challenge facing society and businesses in current times. People Management professionals must acknowledge their responsibility in this regard by focusing on the improvement of diversity and inclusion policies and strategies.

As a not-for-profit organisation, MRANI relies heavily on donations. Funds received will contribute to the day-to-day running of the organisation and the securing of dedicated MRANI office premises.
