Who we are:
At Develop Outdoors CIC, our mission is to inspire children, young people, and the local community through innovative education and engaging activities.
We provide:
- Forest School programmes that build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills in children and young people.
- Vocational courses for 11–16 year olds, offering hands-on learning and recognised qualifications for young people who need alternative provision.
- Community activities, such as holiday clubs, creative arts, sports, and wellbeing sessions.
We believe in creating opportunities for everyone especially vulnerable or disadvantaged young people to grow, learn, and succeed.
Why We’re Fundraising
We are entering an exciting stage of growth. To meet increasing demand, we need to:
- Expand our education and community programmes reaching more young people at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
- Invest in resources and equipment from carpentry tools and gardening materials to creative arts supplies.
- Fit out a new venue in 2026 transforming it into a welcoming, accessible, and fully equipped space for learning, creativity, and wellbeing.
Your support will help us build a stronger, sustainable future for children, young people, and families in our community.
Our Target – £25,000
Every donation takes us closer to realising our vision. Here’s how your support could help:
- £25 – Provides craft resources for children in our holiday clubs.
- £50 – Buys gardening and eco-resources for our outdoors sustainability project.
- £100 – Helps fund materials and equipment for vocational skills programmes.
- £250 – Supports 30 hours of mentoring for a young person.
- £1,000+ – Contributes to the fit-out of our new community learning venue that will provide progressive pathways into education. training and employment.
