Inspiration for Inmates

I am a Christian father who’s daughter is spending 5 years in a Federal Women’s Prison due to Substance Abuse. The most important thing I knew I could send her was a copy of God’s Word. It has been a tremendous help and encouragement to her, drawing her closer to the Lord. Upon seeing her Bible, many of the other inmates have expressed interest in having one of their own. To my surprise, Bibles are not readily available to each individual inmate. These ladies have to go to the library in the institution to read when their schedules permit and they may not have but a few moments to read. Having access to their own personal study Bible would allow them to read in a time of need. Some of the ladies in the facility do not have family or resources to obtain a nice Bible. The Ladies Expositor’s Study Bible, that is produced by Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, is designed specifically with women in mind and comes in many different languages.
It is my desire for every inmate that would like a copy of God’s Word to be able to receive and own one free of charge. They would be able to take these home with them when their incarceration is over. I ask that you prayerfully consider assisting in this mission field of sending these Bibles to any ladies requesting one.
