Important info:
- This campaign is currently ON HOLD.
- This campaign is organized by two Finnish bands, Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum.
- We are raising funds for ourselves to cover some of the financial loss caused by the cancellation of our North American tour due to the Corona virus outbreak.
- Funds will be used to pay the investments made for the tour. These include the tour production, flights, visas, bus, crew, rental gear, waivers etc.
- IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to Finnish laws we need to return all the donations from Finland. All the other donations are totally fine and will be used to help both bands. The refund process will take a while but all you Finnish donors will soon get your money back. This campaign will stay on hold, because it is not possible to block future donations from Finland. Thank you so much!
Our story:
The purpose of this fundraising is to help Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum recover from the big financial loss of having to cancel their North American tour due to the Corona virus Covid-19 pandemic which resulted in government bans and restrictions. Bands only played one show in Philadelphia and then they were forced to return back to Finland.
Bands had already invested large amount of money to tour production, flights, visas, bus, crew, tax waivers and bureaucracy etc. Not to even mention band members' personal investments or the loss of income for 5 weeks.
Giving any sum of money to this campaign means that you are buying a video clip from us which all the participants will receive after the end of the campaign. You can freely choose any sum you want. Any kind of sum, big or small will help us getting the bands back on their feet so we can continue touring and making music. Thank you for your support.
