In Place: an Art Exhibition

Greetings!!! We're Kayla Saito, Alexine Rioux and Mika Agari; we are artists from Nashville, TN working together to organize an art show in Antioch, TN.
In Place is a group art exhibition in an empty clothing store in a nearly deserted mall. The goal of In Place is to start a conversation about contemporary art and contemporary consumer culture within the community. Having the show in the mall allows art to function outside of a traditional gallery experience. The show will be a three day event open from July 10-12th, 2015.
Along with In Place, we're making a magazine that will be featuring work provided by the artists in the exhibition. The magazine will act as both a catalog and show book.
With your help, we will be able to make this the best oppurtunity possible for the artists involved and the community of Antioch. Your donations will go towards rental of the space($2000), the publication of the showbook($600), bringing in a professional juror and/or critical writers as well as advertising and miscelaneous costs.
