<div>On August 12th, while on his way to work, Diego was stopped by Border Patrol. Within less than 24 hours, he was placed in ICE custody and is now being detained at the facility known as “Alligator Alcatraz.”

<div>Diego came to the United States legally and holds legal status. He has no criminal record—no missed court dates, no traffic violations—nothing. He is a hardworking, humble man who has always done his best to provide for his family. Diego is also a talented architect and studied at Valencia College, working hard to build a better future through his education and skills.

<div>Diego’s next court hearing is scheduled for September 23rd, where it will be decided whether he will be released or deported back to Colombia. This is a critical moment for him and his future.

<div>We are urgently raising funds to hire a skilled immigration lawyer to fight for Diego’s release. Legal representation is expensive, but it is the best chance for him to remain with his family and continue building his life here.

Además, Diego es un talentoso arquitecto y estudió en Valencia College, esforzándose por construir un mejor futuro a través de su educación y habilidades.
