Please share out my story ~ make it go viral...
Two extremely rare autoimmune diseases known as "Anti-GBM" and "ANCA Vasculitis" have caused my end stage renal failure to literally change my life overnight .
Today I received news of needing permanent dialysis. These are between 4 to 5 hour long sessions three days per week.
I had lived the 2019 summer and autumn at my friend Dan Sedam's Oasis Motel & RV Park by Meeteetse, Wyoming (85 miles from Yellowstone National Park east gate) enjoying a really sweet kind of exchange helping him and his sweetheart to run the business and to develop, engineer and deploy an all new I.T. system for managing their establishment open 24/7/365.
My breath started tasting like Windex/Ammonia one day in September 2019. I began feeling sick. I did some arm-chair internet research to help me realize I was headed for doo-doo fast.
So I really had no other choice but to pack up and leave there to go see my holistic practitioner near Laramie, Wyoming - for some answers. We didn't draw blood though, in Laramie. Blood draw and lab work of my basic metabolic panel would have most likely sent me to the E.R. then.
Instead, I purchased a kidney stone breaker supplement (Chanca Piedra) and then went to stay with another friend by Cheyenne -- only an hour farther down the road -- for 54 days.
As I began having 30+ restless nights, I decided to go back to my home state Minnesota to be with family for the holidays -- and whammo!
I got sick with 103 degree fever, etc. thinking I had come down with the flu. I had to be taken to Allina Urgent Care and immediately then to the closest E.R. at Shakopee, Minnesota upon reviewing lab results.
Due to my O+ bloodtype, chances are slim of finding a donor if the above autoimmune conditions can ever be eradicated.
Here I sit with very little money left and needing some help in putting a renewed life back together.
Have been approved for Medicaid to keep my treatments going. At least one social worker has already said I should be able to get nearly everything inpatient/outpatient paid by various means. My total future costs are honestly going to run upwards of half a million bucks in bills expected -- should I be worried yet?
I've heard that it can go even higher if I try getting on the list for a new kidney.
Some day there will be an artificial kidney. If I had resources to pursue that, I would consider being among the first middle aged men to get a bionic kidney.
Any help I get here on GoFundMe will put me back together emotionally and hopefully help in getting me recovered and some living arrangements so I don't have to lean on people at all.
I've already had two extremely generous donors on the first day after starting this campaign. I've also started a campaign to get a new business concept onto the airwaves which has already attracted a major donor where those funds go to that cause.
I've got so many great compliments to give about the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Shakopee Saint Francis Regional Medical Center, Allina Urgent Care, and University of Minnesota's M Heath Fairview Hospital. These people love people!!!
Ethiopian immigrants I've met on my care team who provide portions of my care are sweetheart people too and they all love America.
Love is the answer. Then Faith, Prayer and Mind Over Matter. Get in touch with God and go direct.
Happy New Year 2020!
