A puppy for Stephen

Donation protected
My name is Kevin, and on March 7, 2016, I lost a dear and close friend. Stephen Campbell was a loving family member and a loyal friend to many who miss him greatly today.

Anyone who knew Stephen will tell you he was a huge dog lover. He left behind his dog Houdini, who if could speak, will tell you how much he loved Stephen.

In memory of our friend Stephen we are looking to raise money to have a potential service dog named in his honor. We are doing this through the Puppies Behind Bars Organization (www.puppiesbehindbars.com ). An organization Stephen was a huge believer in.

PBB trains incarcerated individuals to raise potential service dogs for veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or Traumatic Brain Injury. The puppy will arrive at 8 weeks of age and stay with his raiser up until about two years of age.

The puppy will be raised to become a well behaved working dog, learning and performing close to 100 commands which are meant to aide those in need. It will also give hope and a second chance to not only the inmate who raises it, but also the veteran.

Stephen's family will receive monthly updates on the puppies progress as well as pictures as it grows. When the puppy graduates, they will also receive a journal written by the raiser which tells the story of the puppies life.

Thank you for any donations. Service dogs give independence and security to those that they serve. I cannot think of a better way to honor my friend.
