Inman’s Academic Bowl Team!
We need your support to continue our academic journey to National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT) Championship Tournaments.
Our academic bowl team currently needs to raise approximately $5,000 for travel expenses and event registration for our upcoming National competition in Chicago, Illinois. Community support from sponsors and friends is vital to our success.
While our parents contribute a great deal to offset travel expenses to every event, some families cannot afford to contribute. We are committed to making competition travel affordable for all students, regardless of family income. To keep that commitment, we must raise funds to reduce the cost per family and provide scholarships. Your tax-deductible donation in any amount will help us reach our fundraising goal for the 2018 championship. You can help the team and your favorite Inman Academic Bowl student by making a contribution by May 8, 2018.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with quiz bowl, it is an academic competition where teams answer questions in a variety of subject areas (i.e. American literature, US history, physical science, geography, fine arts, mathematics, etc).that delve deeply into high school and college curriculum but also go beyond the bounds of what is normally taught in school. Students frequently have to supplement what they already know by studying content areas and practicing multiple times a week to succeed in such competitions.
Inman’s Academic bowl team has had a successful season at PAGE state championship and various competitions around the metro Atlanta. We are very excited about the opportunities and challenges this adventure to NAQT Championships will provide. With your support, the 20+ students of Inman’s Academic Bowl team will grow as lifelong learners, leaders and entrepreneurs.
It's been a spectacular year and this trip to Nationals will allow us to finish strong!

Your donations will be used for the trip to Nationals for the Academic Bowl team. Any excess funds raised will go directly to the Academic Bowl program for future program expenses of travel, equipment, question sets, and more.
