Today we said Aloha to Roy Asia, the best Waipio Ridge horse back riding guide after his short battle against cancer. Roy loved to hunt, cook and spend time with his family and friends. Him and his beloved wife Donna shared many years of love and laughter together. He was a respected member of the Pauuilo and Honokaa communities and Waipio valley was his back yard all his life . He was always happy to be around his family, his wife, children and grandchildren and never failed to give the warmest welcome to his extended family from the Mainland. So charismatic & loving. That one person that will turn a total stranger into a member of the family by the end of a conversation. Fill the room with laughter and jokes and you can't help but crack upWe don't have enough pictures of his big smile but we sure have plenty of memories to hold on to. All the funds and proceeds will go towards his ohana in this difficult time.
