A young man in his early 20s, who recently came to Halifax from India, was severely injured while working for a local company. His injuries have left him unable to walk, and while he is waiting for proper support through WCB, he has been discharged from the hospital and is now staying alone in a hotel with very limited help.
He is far from home, with no family here to care for him, and facing a very difficult recovery. We are deeply concerned for his well-being and want to ensure he has the essentials he needs during this critical time.
What this fundraiser will help with:
• Accessible transportation to and from medical appointments
• Meals, groceries, and basic living needs while he is unable to work
• Supportive care and supplies to make his recovery safer and more comfortable
• Emergency expenses that may arise while awaiting formal assistance
This young man came to Canada seeking opportunity and to build a better life. Right now, he needs our community to rally around him so he is not left to struggle alone in such a vulnerable state.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Even sharing this campaign with your networks will help us reach those who can contribute.
Together, we can show him the kindness and compassion that Nova Scotia is known for, and ensure he feels supported during this incredibly hard time.
Thank you for your generosity and care.
