Injured Lumberton Raider Player

On Friday August 11, 2017, Juan "Junior" Trevino, a player for the Lumberton Raider High School football team was injured during practice.

Junior collapsed on the field and was air-lifted to Jennie Sealy Trauma Center in Galveston, Texas where doctors determined he had suffered extensive head trauma. Emergency surgery was performed and he is currently in stable condition.

Junior's rehabilitation will possibly require a long and extended stay in Houston. He most likely will not be able to attend school this year and miss his sophomore season playing for the team.

Junior's family and friends have been by his side throughout this ordeal. He is a strong young man with a bright future ahead of him. His dedication to family, friends, his school and his teammates is without equal.
I, like many of our family and friends have watched this child grow into a strong young man. A young man that is respectful, honest, hard-working, and faithful to his friends and family. He is truly remarkable and loved by all who meet him.

We ask that you donate to help with the expenses the family will incur during this tragic period of their lives. Any donation will be used to off-set expenses so that Junior can be surrounded by loved ones during this healing period.

Keep him in your prayers.

Thanks,

Friends and Family of Juan "Junior" Trevino
