Thursday, July 6, 2017:
This afternoon, on the way home from work, a close friend and veteran Marine was in an accident on his Harley. A pedestrian ran out into traffic causing drivers slam on the brakes. My buddy tried to stop in time and couldn't, so he dodged and pinballed between two cars. He shattered his left leg below the knee from the impacts requiring surgery to repair. The guy is going to be down awhile and unable to provide for his wife and two kids. We all know disability doesn't cut it. If you can give them a hand you'd be doing a lot. This isn't to repair his ride, the damage isn't bad and I'll take care of that. This is for the family. Thanks.
