Hug Tour 2020

Donation protected

Hi to whomever this may reach! Having you help me reach goals within my journey is an active and needed part— of the journey.

It is like a great big hug of your own for what I'm doing!

Listed below are the tour’s needs, our vision for those needs, and how we plan to utilize them in our journey towards the goal of hugging and serving across all 50 states in the US.

The priority we'd first be addressing together is giving our RV- Luna - some love. She is 40 years old and needs a full-service checkup.  This will help us towards smooth and safe travels as our journey unfolds and we move closer and closer to our goal of spreading loving hugs across 50 states.

Also Fuel & Lodging expenses will be a constant occurrence within our journey.

We mostly stay in Luna, or if we are blessed enough, as we have had the fortune to be, at the homes of open hearted people who welcome myself, Hercules and Titus in— to give us some time in less tight living quarters.

The fuel however keeps us moving along on this journey. So, this is what the sponsorship towards the gas cards would be for. The $1000 asked for is estimated to help us reach the full second stint of our tour and travel to California, and perhaps a little beyond, up into Washington.

The Lodging expenses would be most needed if we achieve the first goal of getting Luna revitalized. We've estimated it may take up to a full week in the shop, where Lodging would be a necessity and no longer a luxury.

The 3000 - Watt Inverter listed is to help power the inside of the RV at night when we are done driving and settling in for the night. It allows us to run the air, heater, stovetop and other electrical devices without running the motor.

The Weize 12V Deep Cycle Batteries are to power the inverter with one of them serving as a backup.

We are in need of proper tools, gadgets, and support!

I would not just love to reach, but develop and grow, is sharing this journey— not just with people in my direct presence. After the events are done, sharing some of our experiences together with those who couldn’t be there in person with us. With loving hopes this inspires more love and embracing moments in your life no matter where you are! For this I will need to start with a Laptop for some light editing to begin with, while also making it easier to update pages online, possibly a website if that materializes, write sponsorship letters etc… which is near impossible to do on a phone.

For real, I am sure you have had to do something like this on your phone before and dreamt of a computer! With the need to edit some of the videos as I move forward, accounts for the greater cost allocated for the laptop, as a little more processing power and memory is needed for a more consistent creative work flow.

Also, as it stands, I don't have an awesome hugging film crew to help accompany some of our moments, which is a dream of mine. I told my community, it’s not as if I plan to capture everything in some look at me moment, but honestly just seeing some of the things you all have filmed of me... I wasn't even aware of... has brought tears to my eyes and lifted my own spirit after getting to watch these moments myself.

So, to get things started, I can begin doing this on my own and with any offered assistance along the way. (People tend to love to share what they are witnessing when we open up with hugs!) A Go Pro 8 (with some small accessories) in addition to the laptop, will help in developing the goal of including more people across ALL LIFE on our HUG TOUR!

One of the best things about the Go-Pro from what we have seen is it gives a genuine feel and look at what we're experiencing and connects with the inspiration we are feeling— as we embrace across the world.

(Plus— who wants to see Hercules’ point of view with the GoPro!!!) HECK YEA!

The following needs met would help promote and garner support for this HUG MOVEMENT:

Purchasing of Signage: To help invite people professionally during events.

Business Cards: To serve as a remembrance of our meeting and a calling card, if you ever need a hug or want to put in a request for some community service.

"It was such a pleasure to meet you today. I love the path that you’re on and the journey you’re having" Kristiin

T-shirts, stickers, patches are imperative to my loving heart! This is one of those best for last moments. Idealistically this might not be the most needed priority logistically, but having you all help me achieve this goal not only financially, but seeing my artists friends help (co-create) and encapsulate our hug presence on stickers, patches, and t-shirts lets us pass on, and leave with people, the embracing nature of what we're doing on this hug tour as we keep it moving!
